Ho‘ona Beach House offers a rare opportunity to stay directly on the ocean in one of Poipu’s most desirable locations. Positioned just 30 feet from the water’s edge, this single-level, three-bedroom, three-bath home provides expansive ocean views and a sense of privacy that is increasingly hard to find on Kaua‘i.

The home sits on a quiet cove bordered by lava rock and coral reef, creating unobstructed ocean views and natural separation from neighboring properties. Nearly every room enjoys a front-row ocean perspective, enhanced by an open, single-story Hawaiian floor plan with glass walls that bring the outdoors in.

The 1,800-square-foot interior centers around a spacious living and dining area and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with induction stove, generous pantry, and modern appliances. Indoor and outdoor dining areas allow you to enjoy meals without ever turning away from the ocean. The rear lanai stretches the length of the home and is ideal for watching surfers at PK’s, spotting sea turtles along the shoreline, and enjoying seasonal whale sightings and evening sunsets.

The home was completely renovated and rebuilt in 2021, with all systems, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures thoughtfully updated. The primary bedroom features a California king bed, while the second and third bedrooms each offer queen beds. All bathrooms are finished with Caesarstone countertops, European-designed fixtures, and one-piece Toto toilets. High-quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided.

Outdoors, the property offers a grassy backyard, an outdoor gas barbecue for relaxed meals, and a private hot-and-cold outdoor shower tucked beneath mature coconut trees. Ceiling fans throughout the home complement the natural trade winds and maintain a comfortable indoor environment.

Ho‘ona Beach House is ideally located within convenient distance to some of Poipu’s most popular destinations. The Shops at Kukui‘ula are a quick 1/2 mile away, offering dining, boutiques, and local markets. The Beach House Restaurant is 1/4 mile, known for its sunset views and cocktails, and Baby Beach is conveniently located just around the corner.

The photo showing the table on the lanai overlooking Kuhio Cove and the Pacific Ocean says it all! This was the PERFECT vacation spot for our family to enjoy all that Kauai has to offer. The location is excellent--directly overlooking the ocean. It's near Spouting Horn, the botanical garden, historic Old Town Koloa, the sandy beach at Poipu, and some great shopping and dining. The home is PRISTINE. When I say that, you can't imagine how clean and well kept this home is. Probably the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you'll need and well organized. The owner, Tom, is very accommodating and explains the home and the area in great detail upon your arrival. He's available for any needs or questions and is a gracious host. The beds are comfortable. Much better than traditional hotel fare. Multiple windows (screened) allow enjoyment of the trade winds and the sounds of waves lapping on the shore. We particularly enjoyed the use of the outdoor shower. Showering while overlooking the ocean by the light of the moon and stars was a treat! The scent of Plumeria provided a nice welcome every time we entered the house. Our son enjoyed treating us to some meals on the grill. Very nice to have. Multiple seating options for meals, lounging, etc. Views of the ocean from kitchen, master bath, master bedroom, extra bedroom, dining room, den, etc. Honestly, only one room in the house (3rd bedroom) is the only place where you don't see the ocean! The back yard is wonderful. Grassy lawn and palm trees make sitting out and enjoying the sun and scenery so enjoyable. Our favorite nearby beach (and scenic views) at Mahaulepu beach and Makauwahi Cave were only about 10 min drive. We enjoyed eating and shopping at the Shops of Kukui'ula which are literally walking distance away. The Wednesday Market was such a treat (Sugarloaf pineapple can't be missed!) Try Uncle's Shave Snow! YUM! (or Luppert's Kauai Pie" Ice Cream) It's only 20 minutes from the Kauai Coffee Plantation and 25 minutes from the Port where tours leave for Na Pali coast. It's only about 35-minute drive to Waimea Canyon which we thoroughly enjoyed. A short 25 minute drive to Lihue (the capital and airport). I can't say enough good about this property, the owner, the island of Kauai, etc. Great place to enjoy family time. If you are going to Kauai, this is a hidden gem! (If you want sandy beach, it's a short walk)

The house was extremely clean. The view of the ocean was unbelievable. The home is about 30 feet from the water. We saw sea turtles daily. It was perfect for 5 adults with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The only concern was not having air conditioning but when you opened all the windows and sliding glass doors the trade winds would cool the house off quickly. The location was close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. We would recommend staying here!

A Hidden Gem Worth Returning To

What an amazing stay in a beautiful house right on the coast! Cool mornings, nice breeze, a view of eternity (and surfers!) and explosive sunsets! My wife and I, with our three adult children, preferred dinner at “home” over the many great restaurants in the area because of the locations privacy and peacefulness. Comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms meant we all had our own space. Not sure I want to mention the daily swims with the Turtles…I’d hate for the masses to find this spot! Right below the house was the best snorkeling anywhere on the island. Tom is the owner of the house and he is desperate for everything to be perfect! He was great to deal with, with a pride of ownership that shines through. Everything about the place was immaculate! If we can swing it every two years we’ll make sure to book this place well in advance!

Sometimes you just luck out and strike gold. We certainly did when we came across Tom and his beautiful beach house on Turtle Bay. From the moment we first arrived and found Tom waiting for us and immediately saw a whale breach in the ocean directly behind him, things just got better. We had planned this trip with our two grown children who flew in from the east coast with friends to meet us in Kauai after our earlier visits to the big island and Oahu. This was our first time in Kauai and we were looking forward to our first vacation with both kids in several years. Tom's beach house proved not only the perfect setting for experiencing the beauty of the island, it was the ideal location for relaxing, touring the island, finding good restaurants, farmers markets and everything else you would want to experience about Kauai. The only negative to report is our stay there was only 9 days long and much too short. All else exceeded our expectations. You can read about the location of this house and it's convenience and beauty, the trade winds, the sounds of the surf, the shows put on by the whales, the sea turtles, the amazing sights you'll see snorkeling, the convenient beach and it's all real. But when you actually experience this amazing place you'll find just how real all of that is. The best part of our whole experience was getting to know Tom. Tom takes meticulous care of his home and makes you feel like you're a guest he is sharing his home with you. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms are private and comfortable, the kitchen is modern and the ocean is in view from everywhere in the house. There are even mirrors on the back wall of the kitchen which reflect the ocean. The house was spotlessly clean and every knife in the kitchen was razor sharp. But mostly we enjoyed our visits with Tom and left for home knowing we had a new friend on Kauai. We will be back, Tom...

Paradise!

My husband and I decided to go to Kauai for our 25th anniversary. I searched for months for a place to stay on the ocean and found the Beach House.I sent an email and Tom responded within 15 minutes. We made the decision to stay at the Beach House and it was paradise! The house is beautiful, and the ocean is incredible. We went to sleep every night listening to the waves. The sea turtles visited us every night. The house is conveniently located on the south side, and easy access to shopping, beaches and restaurants. We had so much fun snorkeling. We loved sitting on the lanai just watching and listening to the ocean. Wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully we can come back soon.

Paradise

Although we thoroughly read through reviews of Tom's place and had very high expectations, it was still an unbelievable sight when we stepped out of our cars onto his property. The ocean crashing, sea turtles swimming, surfers catching waves, and boats sailing by were all in the backyard! The over 120 feet of oceanfront property kept us outside the entire vacation. When we finally had to sleep, we went inside to only hear the ocean's waves crashing all around us. The inside was beautiful as well, but honestly, we lived outside the entire 4 days we were there. We truly hope to return soon with our grown family.

The Ocean Really Is That Close

The view through the carport is not an illusion, the ocean is that close to the water. You can watch surfers from the front of the house, along with sailboats and outrigger canoes. The house is a five minute walk from the Beach House restaurant, which has one of the best sunset views you'll ever experience. Next to the Beach House is a small beach for swimming and snorkeling. If you continue down the road you arrive at Spouting Horn. You can have dinner inside or outside the house, while enjoying the ocean view. Your cooking is done with a view of the ocean. If eating is too much activity then just slump into one of the lounges on the deck and listen to the waves. The town of Koloa is close by (10 minute drive) for all of your grocery needs. Go west to Waimea Canyon or east to Lihue, Kapaa and Hanalei Bay. You're centrally located for all the Kauai activities. The only thing you really did to do once you arrive is unpack and enjoy.

Tom's place!

This home could not be situated more perfectly on Kauai - weather in the SW of the island, access to great beaches and amenities, privacy, your own home on the ocean, and drivability up both sides of the island. But that's not what makes it unique. Tom'a Beach House is truly special. The bay in front, while a bit tough for novice snorkelers, offers a vast array of life to enjoy. The sea turtles feed directly in front of the house whenever high tide and dusk align. The crashing surf is the best white noise you'll ever appreciate. And then there's Tom himself - he takes such pride in his home which then shows up in so many ways you will ultimately value greatly. The longer you're able to stay the more this will feel like your own home (six weeks in our case which I highly recommend).

What an amazing property and location. Our family had a fantastic time touring the island and relaxing in this wonderful house. Perfectly met our needs and we really could lose ourselves in the views from just about every room in the house, even the carport has an amazing view. We made some happy memories and left the house full of love and laughter. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A jewel of a beach house is the beach house

This house is ideally situated in Poipu. The photos speak truly of the amazing views and privacy of this house. What you can't get in the photos is the wonderful sound of the surf and the trade winds. The house is very well appointed, has everything you might need to enjoy a fabulous vacation. Our family had the best time and enjoyed every moment in Tom's house. He takes such pride in and wants you to enjoy the wonderfulness of his home. You can walk to great beaches and the access is easy to the rest of the Island. But be warned, don't plan on doing too many activities away from the house. You just won't want to! We spent a lot of time just sitting on the Lanai, enjoying the sea turtles and surf. It is one of the most idyllic and beautiful spots imaginable.

We loved Tom's beach house! We were traveling with another couple and the setup of a home rather than a hotel room was perfect for us. As has been said repeatedly, the location couldn't be better. The view is fabulous, the sound of the waves is wonderful, and the proximity to an abundance of restaurants, stores and beaches is great. We easily found everything we needed at the beach house - and more. Everything is in top-notch condition. I really can't say enough good things about the place and Tom was a pleasure to deal with. This is a great house to rent. It's in a great location and has an unbelievable view. You can't get any closer to the water than this house. The house has a great layout, it was very clean and very well maintained. Tom described the house very accurately and he is a great guy that is very easy to work with. Our family had a wonderful stay at Tom's beach house in Poipu! The home is in an absolute perfect location walking distance to beach, restaurants, and shopping yet nestled on a quaint residential street. The comfortable, open layout and large glass doors revealing beautiful ocean views made it hard to leave the house for daily excursions. We were certain to return home to the lanai in time to see the breathtaking sunsets in the evenings. Our family of 5 slept great in the comfortable beds, hearing the waves break and birds singing.

Yes, we too very much enjoyed our stay at Tom's single story, waterfront home. Kitchen, baths, bedrooms all very nice quality and and will not disappoint, very clean. Secluded swimming cove steps away, sunset view from lanai is superb and easy evening stroll to restaurant. Breaching whales, lazy turtles, and colorful Moorish Idol fish, all viewed from the property. You can even see Spouting Horn from the lanai. Off street parking under covered breezeway is wonderful, no blistering hot car to return too. Very easy owner to deal with. Still recalling barbecuing on the lanai as the sun was setting - great memories. Already considering our next return.

Beautiful "peace" of paradise

We enjoyed the Beach House very much. The house is top of the line, immaculate, and a great view. Our only wish was that we could stay longer. We were there during the Kona Winds (we heard called) so the cove next to the house was out of our league for swimming and snorkeling but there is a great beach walking distant as well as restaurants and shops. (quick drive). The owner Tom is great to work with. Thank you Tom!

Amazing home and location!

We stayed in The Beach House Kauai for a week with our friends (4 adults total) last month. The home is immaculate and was a wonderful and peaceful place to call home during our stay in Kauai. The location is perfect as it is only a 10 minute walk to many shops and restaurants. This was our 8th trip to Kauai over the past 27 years. The Beach House Kauai was the best place we have stayed in all of those years - best location, best accommodations, etc... We HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Beach House and want to give a big thanks to Tom for his hospitality and for being a fantastic VRBO owner who is providing a great house to his guests.

I have visited the Hawaiian islands over 70 times and there is absolutely nowhere I would stay on Kaua'i other than this wonderful house. It's the sound of the waves when going to bed, the ambiance, the really top quality configuration of the house and the outside deck for breakfast and watching the surfers. I cannot recommend it highly enough - it is a M U S T.

Amazing

The Beach House was immaculate and organized with everything in its specific spot. The multitude of windows kept the home very cool, and breezy. Words (even pictures) cannot express the sound of the ocean less than 30 feet away, the smell of the plumeria, or the brilliance of the 7 rainbows we saw over 4 days. Walk to the market place and dinner choices, Farmers market is close by also. The Owner Tom is a great host, taking care of everything we needed and checking in after a day to ensure a pleasant vacation! We cannot wait to come back!

This is the best Hawaii

This is how you spell vacation! This vacation home is well cared for, well appointed, and in a perfect location. Tom is a gracious and caring host with local insight and much aloha for his guests. The location couldn't be more ideal. Falling asleep to the sound of surf or taking an early morning dip in your backyard ocean transports you to the relaxed feel of Kauai. Swimming and snorkeling is out your back door, as are the sea turtles. Surfing is a short walk away. Shopping and dining is a walk or short drive away. The Island has much to offer and except for the north shore, the drive everywhere is very manageable. The national gardens are close by and a hike in the Grand Canyon of the Pacific should not be missed. In the end, you just don't want to leave! I guess we need to come back.

Better than our first stay

Once again we have a super time at Tom's Beach House! The house is very clean and neat as a pin. This ocean location is unobstructed and watching each sunset is pure pleasure. We had more turtles feeding close up right in front of the house than at Spouting Horn! This was our second stay and are already thinking about our next stay. Thanks again Tom.

Relaxing getaway

This is a great spot. The location is excellent and it's right on the water and south facing so it enjoys a lot of sun. You can snorkel with the turtles right out front. The house is so clean that you can eat off of the floors. Spotless and it has everything that you'd need.

Great beach house

This is a great property. It provides a fabulous view, is well maintained and reflects the owner's attention to detail. Sea turtles feeding in the morning, whales on the horizon, incredible sunsets and a deck that provides more than a 180 degree vista are among the key components of the house. Tom clearly wants his visitors to enjoy the island and the property and is a very responsive owner. Having stayed at a number of VRBO and Airbnb properties, we would give this one our highest ranking.

A truly outstanding holiday!

Our family had a fantastic time at ‘Tom’s Beach House. The home was immaculate and there was attention to every detail to make our stay enjoyable. Tom is a kind, friendly host who took great pains to meet us when we arrived and show us the features of the house. It sits right next to the water; turtles swim out front and whales can be seen in the distance. There is good snorkeling a few steps away, and it’s a 3 minute drive to wonderful beach diving at old Koloa Landing. There is a lanai running across the back of the house which makes for amazing sunset viewing well having cocktails in the evening. One of the highlights of the home is the outdoor shower where you can bask in a cascade of warm water under beautiful palm trees while listening to crashing ocean waves. It is s short walk up to the shopping area where there are fun stores and great dining. We were very sad to leave and are looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible. Mahalo, Tom!

Why I would come back

This property is blessed with a truly unique location, just feet from the ocean and an owner that appreciates it's uniqueness . Tom greeted us at The Beach House when we arrived and gave us the grand tour . He already knew the five of us by name . Every potential need had been addressed in advance . The three bedroom home was immaculate with all the amenities clearly labelled and easy to find . The mattresses are new , sheets crisp and towels fluffy . The layout of the home maximizes the ocean view . At our request Tom recommended restaurants ( Beach House and Tide Pools ) , the best beaches to snorkel ( Lawai and Po'ipu ) and places to shop for food ( Big Save in Koloa ) . Each and every recommendation was spot on . The helicopter flight on the second day ( Blue Hawaii , hope you get Barrett as your pilot ) was incredible. Tom checked in with me a couple of times via phone to ensure we were happy and that all our needs were met. We have rented homes in the U.S., Caribbean and Italy and we have not been more pleased with our experience than our stay at The Beach House . There is no question about a return visit , it is just a matter of when. Well done Tom !

Inviting home in a perfect location

We just returned from spending six days at The Beach House Kaua'i where we enjoyed a carefree vacation in your lovely house. It was equipped with thought to everything anyone could possibly need! We spent the days visiting the surrounding beaches where my grandson could surf, and the best snorkeling was right in our own backyard! My family thanks you for a great vacation!

Kauai's Beach House

The Beach House is in a primo location in Poipu, Kauai. You can watch the surfers from sunrise to sunset, and seeing the green Hawaiian sea turtles feeding around noon every day from the backyard - which is THE OCEAN! You can easily access the beautiful ocean as well for some snorkeling or surfing. An outdoor shower and hose help with all those ocean/sandy days. The home itself is immaculate, with ample room for 6 guests. It has a washer/dryer, beach towels and a well stocked kitchen for all your needs. The entire backside of the house is glass that opens up to the outdoors, where you will spend almost all of your time! There is no A/C so it can be adjustment for those used to A/C, but the windows are easily opened to allow for cross winds and cooling inside the home. This area of the neighborhood is quiet. Very close to all the shops and restaurants and great beaches! Thank you Tom for being a great host and being available for any needs! We love Kauai!

Perfect location

This was our second visit to Tom's beach house, and it was lovely! The house is just as we remembered it. The views are exceptional - we loved sitting out by the wall and watching the turtles nip at the rocks, and the crabs run away from us... It was a very peaceful and restorative vacation! Just what we needed. It was quite hot the week we were there, and during a couple hours a day we wished there was more breeze or a/c (or portable fans?), but we either just went swimming or out exploring instead. Last time we were here, it wasn't in August, so the heat wasn't so bad! We went snorkeling about twice a day - and saw lots of fish, a few eels, lots of honu, and even a sting ray! Watching the surfers was also a treat. The parakeets every night and morning were quite the sight - thousands of them - we loved watching them fly back and forth. And we were there during the Perseids, so each night we sat outside and watched the shooting stars! The house is very convenient to a small grocery store, drug store, and a number of restaurants, so we were glad to be able to walk to a bunch of places. I would recommend stocking up at the Safeway or something near the airport, though. Tom was very kind and always available if we needed anything - it was always a pleasure chatting with him. We definitely plan on returning! Thanks, Tom, for again sharing your lovely home with us!

The house was well-stocked and in near perfect condition, including spacious kitchen-dining area, three full baths, and convenient washer and dryer, plus an outside shower. Enjoyed dramatic sunsets, sea turtles, and flocks of green parrots. Would definitely come back again.

Relaxing and amazing beach house

This house is simply amazing in location and beauty! This is our 2nd time to stay at Tom's place in the last 5 years. The house is stunning and immaculate. The kitchen is supplied with anything you may need (we actually had Thanksgiving dinner there). The relaxing sounds of the ocean is heard even with the windows closed. Tom was readily available to help with any activities we wished to do while on the Island. The Beach House Restaurant is a short walk and was excellent. If you want a relaxing vacation watching the turtles each day and listening to the beautiful sounds of the ocean, this is a must stay!

If you go to Hawaii to be close to the ocean the Beach house is where you want to stay. My girlfriend Barbara and I spent a week there and enjoyed it very much. The ocean is right there visible to you from anywhere in the house and especially on the deck which is only 10 yards from the water. You can't capture it completely in pictures you have to stay there to experience it. The house was very clean and comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy an extended stay. The owner Tom Sterling was very gracious, helpful and welcoming and we left feeling we had made a new friend.
The location was another factor that made this property exceptional. You can walk to some very good restaurants, shopping and Baby Beach is 5 doors down from the house. Other beaches are also close by.
We have stayed at 8 other properties on Kauai and this is our favorite by far. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

We spent a week at The Beach House - Kauai for a much needed vacation. Tom, the owner, could not have been a more gracious host, and the house far exceeded our expectations. We could sit there for hours, watching the ever-changing ocean, sky, surfers and sea turtles. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely amazing. The house is comfortable, exceptionally clean, and private. The sound of the ocean and the sweet tropical breezes flow through the house. It’s a wonderful place to just hang out. The beds are very comfortable; combined with the sound of the surf, we enjoyed a great night’s sleep every night. The location affords a choice of beaches to walk to, all with snorkling opportunities. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, so you never have to leave the area if you don’t want to. The location, the house, the host — all great. Mahalo, Tom. We look forward to seeing you again.

Oceanfront Paradise

Terrific location with deck and lawn in front of a great snorkeling bay. Sitting in the house all you see is ocean. The kitchen is really well appointed for in house cooking and barbecuing. We’ve been to Kauai many times over the years and this spot is one of the best. Thanks Tom

We stayed at Tom's house for a week at the end of 2019 into the New Year. The house was perfect - clean, relaxing, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Tom checked in several times to make sure that we were comfortable. The location can't be beat within walking distance to the smaller beaches, snorkeling right outside your door, etc. The wall of doors that opens right onto the ocean is unbelievable. We enjoyed just relaxing at home watching the ocean and the sea life! We will be back 100%!

A Magical Place To Stay

Kauai is a magical place by itself but staying at The Beach House took it a whole other level. Our family of five spent 10 days in this amazing home and it will be a trip that's hard to beat (unless we come back and stay again). Tom is a very gracious host that takes tremendous pride in his home --- and it shows. This isn't an average vacation rental that caters to the masses. Instead, Tom has selected premium touches, appliances and conveniences that make staying here so much more enjoyable. He truly cares about making everything perfect for his guests. And, of course, the location is spectacular. Seeing and hearing the ocean yards away melts away any stress that we brought from the mainland. Plus being able to walk to the local restaurants and shops was so convenient...we did this almost daily. The property is close by many beach choices that offer something for everyone such as Baby Beach, great snorkeling, and our favorite, Kiahuna Beach. We highly recommend The Beach House and booking with Tom. He's a wonderful person and we feel like we have a trusted friend in Koloa now as part of our extended Ohana.

Retirement Trip

My husband and I along with my sister and her husband stayed at this property. It was like you were on the ocean. It was a beautiful property. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping. We were within walking distance of a nice plaza to eat and shop. The house had nice amenities and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The house was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay here. The owner was easy to work with. I would highly suggest this property.

Picture Perfect

"Best vacation ever" (quote from every single family member). Words can't describe the views from inside and outside this house. Picture perfect sunrises and sunsets, from the living room to the carport. One of the best features (kids' fav) was the hot water outdoor (open) shower and being able to rinse off while looking at the ocean, seeing the many turtles that feed next to the seawall and hearing the waves.The entire house has recently been renovated and appliances are all new and functional. We love having a washer/dryer available (less packing and less laundry to do when returning home). Tom is an amazing host and went out of his way to make our vacation special/memorable. The Beach House is a 5-10 min walk for unforgettable sunsets. There are too many positive attributes to name, can't think of any outstanding negatives. While "at home," leave the sliding doors/screens open during the day to enjoy the breeze and ocean sounds (bugs will stay outside or go back out quickly during the day). 8-9 turtles came to visit and feed almost every afternoon. Oceanfront house with beaches just a 5 minute walk away. Perfect for those seeking R&R and spectacular views with amenities from home. Not recommended for those seeking an all-inclusive resort experience.

Last Hurrah

We have just retuned back home after what can only be described as a long, absolute amazing and unforgettable holiday. Just under 7 weeks in total, visiting and spending time at some incredible places in the World. Having started at Honolulu and then spending a week at Kona, we caught a flight to the French Polynesia, spending time in Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo'orea, Raiatea, some spectacular oceans and views. We retuned back to Hawaii and spent our final week in Kauai. I can safely say, not only did we find Island of Kauai unbelievably beautiful but the Beach House we stopped in was also spectacular. The views of the ocean, the noise of the sea, the cool breeze flowing through the house, were just splendid. Turtles outside, what a sight and no more than a minute walk, if that, you come to a sandy beach, small enough to be private (so to say) and big enough to enjoy. Tom, the owner, what a great guy. He was so welcoming, accommodated to all our needs, the house was immaculately clean, and this in all fairness is an understatement, it was sparkling. Seeing is believing. Abundance of towels, beach towels, probably the most comfortable beds we slept in during our travels, the furniture was of a very high standard along with the appliances which you can see were the best that money can buy. No expense sparred for sure. Tom, well, i can only say that he is a very caring, kind and passionate man. Went over and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. It was a great ending to a wonderful and unforgettable holiday. Would highly recommend Tom and The Beach House.

The Beach House is Amazing!

Amazing, simply amazing! The Beach House was the perfect place for us. It is newly renovated, spotless, spacious, and perfectly located. There are two large double sliding doors leading to the oceanfront lanai with a spectacular view of the ocean and when opened a wonderful breeze blows across the living room. It is only a 2-5 minute walk to some of the best snorkeling on the island. Shops, restaurants, surfing and various beaches are just 5-10 minutes away. We loved our hikes to the Waimea Canyon, Heritage Trail and Kapalua, our surfing lessons and a sailing trip up around the Napali coast (absolutely gorgeous!) However, some of our favorite things were right there at Tom’s Beach House, reading under the coconut tree, watching the turtles, relaxing on the lanai and having family dinner's at home. This was my first time to Kaua’i and as the week went by, I appreciated more and more the location of The Beach House and how special it is. Tom is an awesome host; he takes great pride and joy in sharing his home with others. He is always available for questions and help. I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to return!!

This beachfront house was an absolute gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility that our entire family enjoyed. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were greeted by the mesmerizing sights and sounds of the ocean, creating an ambiance that is nothing short of magical. The open-concept layout allows for seamless indoor-outdoor living, with large sliding doors that frame breathtaking views. Watching the turtles and the surfers from the porch became our family’s daily routine. The amenities were top-notch, and everyone having their own bathroom was a huge bonus. My family spent 2 weeks in the Beach House during August 2024. The home is pristinely clean and well-cared-for. The owner was friendly and helpful. We watched up to 8 sea turtles at a time feed on mossy rocks from the deck. Snorkeling is accessible in front of the home. We enjoyed the beautiful location,sunsets, and wildlife all from the gorgeous property. Restaurants, grocery, shopping, other adventures are within easy driving. We had a great time and hope to return in the future. Mahola!

Bucket List Trip

This is an exceptional property. We stayed here with two other couples on the first stop of our Hawaiian bucket list trip. The home is meticulously maintained and well appointed. The highlight is the location. Situated 20 feet from the water you will entertained with daily visits from Hawaiian turtles and awestruck by the nightly sunsets. If you're traveling to Kauai I highly recommend considering this property.

We (4 of us) had the pleasure of staying at Tom’s beautiful beach house on our recent trip to Kauai and had a great time. First of all the view, the view, the view….. we spent a lot of time just sitting out on the back deck watching all the action from the surfers to people snorkeling as well as the many many turtles that come everyday. The house was spotless and had everything we needed.. Tom was a great host and was only a call away if you had any questions or issues. The location was ideal…. We were able to walk to the beach house restaurant (amazing food - note book a reservation prior to your trip - It gets busy), the shops down the road and the small beach “Baby Beach” entrance was only a couple houses down. We would defiantly stay here again if we come back to Kauai.

Incredible Vacation In Paradise!!!

We spent 9 adventure filled days with our children and their spouses in Tom's beautiful home. Tom was just a pleasure to meet and such a gracious host. I can honestly say Beach House, Kauai is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. The entire home is just beautiful and the panoramic view of the ocean is to die for. The beds were really comfortable which we definitely appreciated. Each couple having their own separate bathrooms was super nice. We began our day and ended our day on the spacious lanai just a few yards from the water watching the sea turtles, surfers, sunsets, and shooting stars. The home is very convenient to shopping areas, restaurants, and excursions. It's central location allowed us to explore many areas of the island from Waimea Canyon to Hanalei Bay. We also enjoyed an ATV tour, tubing, Napali Coast tour, kayaking the Wailua river, hiking and of course several beaches. Make sure you walk to The Beach House restaurant and have a Mai Tai! Delicious! My husband and I would love to stay in Tom's home again next time we visit Kauai even if is just the two of us!!!
